Vision
We strive to ensure that our society should become a community in which the youth are well informed about current global issues, providing the much needed services to our community and helping to promote the socio-economic well-being of the people.
Mission
To sustain community development by the provision of public education and training, and participation in moral and socio-economic issues and activities, as well as environmental health and sanitation, sexual and reproductive health activities, through mobilization of the youth.
Aims and Objectives
The club’s objectives follow the belief that knowledge of the physical and social environment and a balance between the community and its natural resources, and productivity is a necessary condition for human happiness, good health and prosperity. Specifically, the club tasks itself and all members with the following aims and objectives.
- To promote good environmental health and sanitation in the community.
- To initiate and implement programmes aimed at promoting the Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) of the youth and the community as a whole.
- To equip the youth with the requisite skills needed for the enhancement of their economic development.
- To promote and improve the academic performance of (student) members.
- To promote and sustain good social and moral lifestyles of the youth and to develop their leadership potentials.
Membership
Membership is open to all youth . These are the people who understand the principle of “self development for community development”.
However, membership is still open to persons above the youth classification, who have special interests in the programmes and activities of the club.
